Secondary Inservice
CRIP is working with the PNG Department of Education to conduct a series of workshops with school based Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) to prepare for the implementation of the new lower secondary curriculum. The workshops assist the PLTs to develop knowledge and skills in the new outcomes based syllabuses, the implications of the new syllabuses for teaching and learning practices and how to manage significant curriculum change in secondary schools. They are supported in the process by Secondary Inspectors of Schools. Workshops will be conducted in all provinces by mid-2006. A copy of the workshop outcomes can be viewed by clicking here.
